EE announce new monthly plans with benefits

EE have unveiled a new range of great value smartphone, SIM-only, and connected device plans, which include 150,000 WiFi hotspots in a new converged network experience, as well as enhanced benefits and extended services. The move forms part of EE’s evolutionary journey to become the most personal customer-focussed technology brand in the UK.

New Essentials and All Rounder Plans

EE’s new Essentials, All Rounder and Full Works Plans are available across smartphone, SIM-Only and connected devices. With monthly data allowances ranging from 1GB to unlimited, customers receive access to EE’s Stay Connected Data, Data Gifting, Device Care Extras (available to customers purchasing devices), EE’s award-winning customer service and new WiFi Coverage Boost.

With a 100Mbps maximum download speed, EE’s entry level Essentials Plan provides a solid connection that’s perfect for social media, streaming and downloading music and shows, as well as gaming on the go – with access to Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade and Apple News+ free for six months, worth over £170.

Meanwhile, EE has introduced a newAll Rounder plan. With EE’s fastest speeds it is perfect for streaming and casting 4K content, as well as gaming whenever they want. Customers on an All Rounder plan also receive one inclusive Smart Benefit worth up to approximately £15 per month.

Full Works Plan with Apple One

In a UK exclusive, EE is the first mobile network globally to offer customers access to the Apple One Individual Plan as part of their mobile package – with the Full Works Plan for iPhone.  From August 31st, customers who take out the Full Works Plan for iPhone will gain access to amazing Apple services through Apple One, including:

· Apple Music, giving customers access to over 90 million songs ad-free, expertly curated playlists, the best artist interviews, conversations, and global premieres with Apple Music Radio and immersive sound powered by Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos

· Apple TV+, featuring award-winning series, premium, compelling drama and comedy series, feature films, groundbreaking documentaries, and kids and family entertainment

· Apple Arcade with 200+ premium games — featuring new releases, award winners, and beloved favorites from the App Store, all without ads or in-app purchases

· iCloud+ with 50GB of storage for photos, videos, files, apps, and device backups

Customers will also receive a Roam Abroad Pass within their plan, allowing them to access their plans allowance in the EU as well as the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand, giving them a total saving of up to £140.

Full Works Plan for Android

For those who want the ultimate UK mobile plan, EE is offering new Full Works plans, providing the best in connectivity, entertainment, and service. Also with EE’s fastest speeds, those choosing a new Full Works plan with an Android device will receive three Smart Benefits worth up to £200.

Both EE All Rounder and Full Works Plan customers also benefit from Upgrade Anytime, allowing them to upgrade their handsets whenever they want and switch to the latest smartphone models before the end of their contract.

New EE Smart Benefits

EE’s Smart Benefits range has been enhanced with the addition of two new Microsoft offerings. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, offering access to hundreds of high-quality games across console, PC and cloud including new releases like Starfield on day one and blockbusters like Forza Horizon 5. Plus, with Microsoft 365 Personal, customers get access to all their Premium Office apps like Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, across up to 5 devices, as well as 1TB OneDrive cloud storage to keep their files safe and sound, making it easy to quickly save, share and edit your files wherever you are.

This is in addition to existing benefits which include: Netflix, Apple Music, BT Sport, Entertainment Data Pass and Roam Abroad Pass.

WiFi that boosts your coverage where you need it

With smartphone usage on the increase following the Covid-19 pandemic, the requirement for access to coverage has never been greater to keep in touch with friends, family and colleagues. EE network data shows devices usage on-the-go from May-July continues to rise, with download traffic in July passing well above pre-pandemic levels.

As part of its vision to offer customers the best connectivity experience, in a converged-first by a major mobile network, EE is launching WiFi Coverage Boost available to all new and existing pay monthly and pay as you go mobile customers. WiFi Coverage Boost extends mobile coverage where it’s most needed, with free and seamless access to over 150,000 securely encrypted BT WiFi hotspots across the UK. From high streets to rural communities, and even in hard-to-reach places like platforms on the London Underground, EE customers can seamlessly connect to the hotspots as they come into range.

Keeping families connected

EE is also introducing a new Multi-Line Discount on additional SIMs taken out, designed with families in mind. With Multi-Line Discount, customers can enjoy EE’s lowest prices on additional lines—perfect for the other mobiles, laptops and tablets—for either them or their family. Customers can now receive a 20% discount on additional SIM only and data SIM plans as well as a 10% discount on additional smartphone and tablet plans.

EE also offers a great range of tools to help families manage their plans which includes; 

· EE’s unique Stay Connected Data which switches on once a customer has used their monthly data allowance and is fast enough for customers to send and receive data messages

· Data Gifting, allowing customers to move their unused data over to other people in their family that might need it

· With the My EE app, customers can control how their children use their phones, for total peace of mind – with the ability to apply caps and controls so there’s no unexpected bills. They can also restrict usage abroad or block premium rate calls/texts as well as prevent in app purchases

Device Care Extras

EE is also extending its Device Care Extras offered to smartphone customers to those with Connected Devices, including laptops, tablets and watches as part of EE’s commitment to offering top tier service, beyond mobile.

From today, those taking a connected tablet from EE will benefit from the option of an Annual Device Check-Up, and those taking a connected tablet, laptop and smartwatch will receive a £10 discount on EE’s Minute One protective bundle, as well as a new Extended Warranty covering against any manufacturer faults for the lifetime the customer is on their EE plan – perfect for the 52% of UK consumers who say an Extended Warranty is a key consideration when purchasing a new device.

As a further commitment to keeping customers connected, EE’s store repair service expansion also continues, offering Manufacturer Approved repairs within 23 stores, or next day in over 300 stores nationwide (which covers 76% of the UK population).
