EE have today announced the first range of 5G mobile broadband prices in the UK, this is ahead of Vodafone who switch their 5G on next week.
The HTC 5G router looks very impressive with s large 5 inch touch screen display allowing you to control with ease, and also see what data has been used.
Right now two plans are available, 50GB costing £50 a month or 100GB costing £75 a month.
Hopefully larger plans will also become available in the future, especially considering EE offer 120GB on a single handset plan, a mobile WiFi solution with multiple connections could use far more.

Edward Goff, Marketing Director, EE said: “Our 5G network will give EE customers even faster, more reliable mobile WiFi connections where they need it most – whether online gaming on the move, downloading or streaming HD content, or simply keeping a fast connection in the busiest areas. With the HTC 5G Hub, we’re seeing mobile experiences typically associated with tablets and smartphones combined with the practicality of a mobile broadband device and portable battery. With such a diverse product, we’re the only UK network that allows users to enjoy the fastest mobile connectivity in more places.”
Unlike other mobile broadband hotspots, the HTC 5G Hub features a 5-inch HD capacitive touchscreen, so it can be used as a media centre, accessing 5G to stream 4K videos to a second screen and deliver crisp, clear content. Intuitive voice command and remote-control features also make it quick and easy to manage entertainment needs. For gaming, low-latency, 60fps, and 4K resolution (on compatible screens), the HTC 5G Hub is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform.
Along with Android 9 Pie, this allows for unprecedented download speeds and power for native Android and PC games supported on the large screen. The device also features a microphone as well as a loud speaker for playback, 30 meter WiFi range

The smart hub, which costs £500 as a standalone device, is available from EE with 5G for a one-off upfront fee of just £100 with either 50GB of monthly data on a £50 per month, 24-month 5GEE WiFi plan, or with 100GB on a £75 per month.
