EE have announced the exclusive availability of the Nreal Air AR glasses will take place through EE retail stores and ee.co.uk from 20th May. The move is part of EE’s ongoing commitment to provide customers with the best experiences from the world’s most innovative companies, with EE as the exclusive UK retailer.
With the latest AR technology, fine-tuned audio, and a massive 201-inch expanded Full HD virtual display, Nreal Air is a great way to experience digital content on the move. When combined with a compatible Android smartphone connected to EE’s 5G network, the glasses open-up new possibilities for streaming high-definition movies and TV shows as well as mobile gaming via the cloud. Connecting a Bluetooth gaming controller can also turn a smartphone into a portable console when coupled with a game-streaming platform. The glasses are perfect for those with a Smart or Full Works plan – allowing them to make the very most of their Netflix or BT Sport app access, or those gamers who take out the EE Xbox Game Pass Ultimate add-on.
With a classic, sunglasses-inspired lightweight design weighing only 79 grams, they are easy to wear with a set of nose pads for comfort. Nreal Air glasses also come with a small compact carry case, which makes them easy to slip into a pocket or bag, and can be used wherever a customer uses their smartphone.
The glasses will be available to new and existing EE customers to purchase through all EE stores for £399.99, with select stores due to feature demo samples for customers to view. EE is also offering eligible existing pay monthly customers the option to spread the cost of the glasses interest free over 11 months, for £35 a month and a small £10 upfront cost on Add to Plan. Existing EE customers will also be able to purchase the Nreal Air over the phone, and through www.ee.co.uk
