Nokia 3 gets Android 9 Pie update

Nokia phones running Android are one of the first to get the all important updates thanks to running on the Android One platform. The Nokia 3 is one of the lower end spec devices made by HMD, but also one of the best selling due to low price making it an attractive purchase for many smartphone users.
The Nokia 3 has just had the update for Android 9 Pie so owners of this device can get all the benefits of the latest version of the OS. If you have a Nokia 3 check your settings for a software update, you may get the update show already, or you may have to press the ‘Check for Updates’ button to push it through. Android 9 Pie roll out on the Nokia 3 starts today

This brings the number of Nokia smartphones running on Android 9 Pie to 19 London UK, 3rd June 2019: Keeping with its promise of offering a smartphone experience that keeps getting better, HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, has announced that Nokia 3 will upgrade to Android 9 Pie starting today*.

With this, we are further expanding our portfolio of Nokia smartphones running on the latest OS from Android, bringing the latest innovations from Google to a total of 19 smartphones.
