Nokia announce 9 PureView with 5 camera setup!

Barcelona is always busy this time of year thanks to MWC, and things are just got very interesting from Nokia.

The Nokia 9 PureView is the -long rumoured and highly anticipated smartphone for the camera enthusiast with 5 cameras over on the back. Instead of using multi-sensors, the 5 Zeiss sensors are split into 2 colour and 3 monochrome – all with the same focal length. Still, the overall image quality the device captures should be seriously impressive and is something I cannot wait to try out myself.

Here’s an example of the picture quality…

The other specs include a 5.99” 2k POLED display, Snapdragon 845 processor with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, an under-screen fingerprint sensor and optical face unlock

The battery is 3320mAh so should last the day which is important for any smartphone photographer.

With Android One software you get super fast software updates as they are released by Google so you are always up to date with security and services.

The Nokia 9 PureView will go on sale in selected markets in March and Preorders will start anytime now for €699. Interesting to see the Pureview brand back again!
