OPPO has today announced the launch of the OPPO Band, the smartphone brand’s first wearable device designed to enhance and improve the fitness experience. It’s the newest addition to OPPO’s smart device line and follows the success of the OPPO Watch series last year.
The OPPO Band offers 12 workout modes – from running and walking, through to yoga, cricket and cycling – so users can exercise however, wherever and whenever is convenient for them. All workouts have been created with the fitness needs of the athlete, the amateur and everyone in-between, in mind.
Specially-curated for those who need to switch seamlessly between work, gym and socialising at a moment’s notice, the OPPO Band is available in a sport version in black.
Kevin Cho, OPPO UK Managing Director, said “Staying active is one of the most important things we can do and after more than a year in lockdown, we’re all aware of the impact it has on not just our physical, but mental, well-being. The biggest challenge can be finding the motivation to exercise. Whether you’re au fait with all things fitness or just starting out on your fitness journey, consistency and monitoring your progress in the right way is key. That’s why we’re excited to be launching the OPPO Band, enabling users to stay engaged and motivated. Ahead of a long-awaited summer, the OPPO Band puts users back in the driver’s seat when it comes to fitness.”
Feature packed fitness monitoring, never off-duty
The OPPO Band is designed to help you stay on top of fitness tracking, complete with 12 built-in workout modes. Users can check their progress easily in the HeyTap health app while on the go.
Sleeping well is the key to any successful fitness journey. The OPPO Band supports accurate sleep, heart rate, and continuous SpO2 monitoring—providing all-around records and analysis of its user’s sleep health. By tracking sleep patterns and encouraging a better sleeping routine, the OPPO Band has been designed to aid recovery.
The built-in optical heart rate sensor can monitor the user’s heart rate around the clock and if it becomes too high, the smart band will vibrate to warn the user of irregular heartbeat. With the OPPO Band measuring heart rate during exercise, users can avoid over-training and learn what pace they need to keep ensuring that they are progressing towards their goals.
Powerful performance in a stylish, versatile package
Users can receive messaging and call notifications, control music playback and even find their mobile phones, all through the OPPO Band. The OPPO Band features a large 100mAh battery, fully charged in just 1.5 hours, taking you from work to work out, and beyond.
Choose from more than 40 different watch faces to match your style and mood. The OPPO Band is available in a basic sport version and comes in black.
Pricing and availability
The basic sport version of the OPPO Band is priced at £39.99, available at OPPO’s eStore and Amazon.co.uk. With its appealing design and well-built fitness capabilities, the OPPO Band is here to activate your health, right from your wrist.
