Samsung Unpacked date confirmed for January

In what has been one of the most leaked phones of all time, the rumors were true and Samsung have just confirmed their Unpacked event for the 14th January.

The company are expected to launch the Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra as well as Buds Pro earphones to compete with AirPod Pro’s.

The S21 range has been leaked countless times including what the specifications and pricing will be, even the date the phones will go on sale.

Prolific leaker Jon Prosser has confirmed the pre-order will start the same day as the event, the 14th January and be available in stores on January 29th.

This would be the earliest a new S range has launched for a while as normally it used to be MWC in February we would see the new devices, then Samsung decided to go with their own event around the same time instead.

With the iPhone series launching just a few months ago, this could be a key reason Samsung have decided to go for an earlier date, even with the pandemic of COVID-19 still in full force around the world.
