Global technology brand OnePlus today confirmed that its next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 15 will launch globally in a dune-coloured “Sand Storm” edition, becoming the first smartphone in the industry to bring aerospace-grade Micro-Arc Oxidation (MAO) to the middle frame of the smartphone and camera deco.
Inspired by desert landscapes, the Sand Storm edition fuses raw resilience with refined minimalism. Aerospace-grade toughness is achieved through a high-voltage plasma process that adds a ceramic coating directly on the metal frame -3.4 times harder than aluminium mid frame and 1.3 times as tough as titanium mid frame-all while maintaining an environmentally sustainable footprint. A feather-light fibre-glass back completes the sculpted feel, providing a silky grip in a well-balanced hand-fit.
The OnePlus 15 is a 2-generation upgrade in Power, Intelligence, Design. Continuing OnePlus’ tradition of leading performance, OnePlus 15 will be one of the first smartphones in the industry powered by Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, paired with the brand’s latest cooling system to ensure sustained peak performance and efficiency. The revamped design has been rebuilt from the ground up, exuding premium, minimal and clean look.
