Apple increase app download limit to 200MB

Apps these days are getting larger and larger in size, thankfully the growing capacity of mobile networks is on the up so should be no problem, this is 2019 after all.

However one annoyance on the Apple iOS system is the fixed maximum download limits over mobile data, before now if the app was below 150MB in size you can download as normal.

The problem was any app over this you were forced to use Wi-fi only, not ideal especially if you have a large data plan and want to use your own network or are away from decent WiFi.

Apple have today chosen to increase the limit from 150MB to 200MB which although is not a huge deal, does at least give you more apps you can download away from WiFi.

Many iOS users have been asking Apple to change this policy and at least give users the option to use their data network, however at present this 200MB App Store update is now live.
