O2 pull out from Carphone Warehouse

More bad news for Carphone Warehouse, recently the company decided to close it’s standalone stores across the UK, instead keeping just over 300 of the store in store setups with Curry’s PC World.

Now comes the news that O2 have pulled out of selling via the 3rd party after failing to agree a new deal recently, with immediate effect.

This is disappointing news for the company who now are unable to sell Three and O2 from the current list of networks, and with more focus going on networks selling directly things may only get worse.

O2 customers will now have to shop direct with the company, or via other 3rd party retailers, but considering the large size of CPW, this will be a big change indeed.
