Vodafone promote 5G roaming in Madrid

Even though the summer holidays are over for people this year, there are still plenty of travellers who roam all year round, and need a fast and stable connection to keep in touch.

One of the big news stories at the Vodafone 5G launch earlier this year was the promise of 5G roaming across multiple locations in Europe, and whilst I was not able to experience in Berlin at IFA, Vodafone arranged for some media to experience the service recently in Madrid, Spain.

Whilst I was not lucky enough to attend, one of the sites I follow, Btekt, was able to go and has produced the video above showing off the service.

Testing was performed between three different Samsung devices, the S10 5G, Note 10 5G, and Galaxy Fold, with interesting final results.

Speeds were very impressive staying between 400Mbps and 700Mbps, which for a mobile network is more than fast enough for every situation, including large downloads on the go.

Check out the video coverage to see what happened, and consider subscribing as not only is David a great guy in person, but does some great tech coverage online on Btekt and is well worth hitting that subscribe button.
